My kids love to water our plants. They feel the soil before watering the plant. They also love to take responsibility.

Last week my daughter came from school with a plant with the specific instruction of watering it three times a week. I saw this as an opportunity for her taking the responsibility of watering it. 

So, i made her a "plant watering time table, in which she marks check or other symbol every time she water the plant.I laminated it, so she can erase it at the end of each week and refill it with a dry erase marker on the next week.
